Filli&Me is a brand created by parents of two kids, for all the parents and children out there.

Shikha and Vishal, co-founders in this journey, both thoroughly enjoy parenting (even the hard parts!) 

In the early years, when a child slowly steps out of the comfort of their home, be it a daycare or kindergarten, their world expands dramatically. From vocabulary and motor skills to emotional development, everything seems to evolve at lightning speed, filling parents with anxieties and worries they have never felt before. These are the times when parents, need trustworthy sources that assure them that their children are well taken care of and children, need companions that can walk with them. 

Why a Schoolbag?

Because your child deserves a companion. 

As parents of two young children, Shikha and Vishal understood the challenges and anxieties that come with sending a child to school for the first time. They embarked on a mission to understand the needs of parents across the country by speaking to over 100 parents in different cities. 

In these conversations, they found an echo of their own anxieties:
Am I doing the best for my child?

This is where the idea for a school bag came in. The one thing you can send with your child as they go into the world away from you. How can we make this the best experience? How can we give them all that they need, to feel safe and to be able to carry the warmth of home? How can we make sure they have fun through it all?

It is with this idea that ‘Filli&Me’ was created. A trustworthy companion for our children in their early years.

As parents, Shikha and Vishal wanted to create a character that could offer children the same comfort and security they experience at home. Filli, our Indian ginger cat, was born from this desire.

 

She is a wise, mischievous, and always witty friend who could be a constant presence in our children's lives. Filli's playful nature and adventurous spirit can help your child feel safe and secure in new environments. Whether they're starting at a new school or exploring an unfamiliar park, Filli is a comforting companion that helps them navigate unfamiliar territory.

She is a companion that helps bring the joy of parenting back to young parents through thoughtful, playful and highly functional solutions. It is with these guiding principles that we have designed our one of a kind HugBag.

A child’s body, their emotional development and what they carry in their bags changes every year during the initial phase of their lives. This is where the Hugbags from Filli&Me come in.

Designed specifically for three different age groups within the early years - 2 to 4 (preschool), 4 to 6 (nursery and kindergarten) and 6 to 8 (early primary), the bags grow in functionality and creativity with the child, all the while keeping their comfort and safety in mind. The bags are sized by the child’s age, compartmentalised to serve the needs of each age group and come with age-appropriate playful elements.

The one of a kind, soft & lightweight harnesses are specially crafted keeping the ergonomics in mind, sitting on the child’s tiny shoulders like a garment while holding the child across the waist like a warm hug. This unique harness provides a snug fit, ensuring bags don’t snag and children can race ahead freely as they approach a fun day away from home.
